In short
You rent the app month by month or year by year. Your files never leave your laptop unless you share them. Cancel any time and keep access to the end of what you paid for. One account per person, two computers, one signed in at a time.

What you are buying

A subscription to the Crusher desktop app for Mac and Windows, and, on Studio, a shared team space online. You pay by the month or by the year and the app keeps working for as long as the subscription is active.

The Service comprises the Crusher application, the licence server, and, for Studio plans, hosted team storage, provided by Crusher, [legal entity], registered in Ireland. Access is licensed, not sold, for the duration of an active subscription.

Your files are yours

Crusher runs on your computer. Files you crush never leave it unless you choose Share to team on a Studio plan, and then only the crushed result goes to your team's private space. We never look at, use or claim any right over your files.

The Customer retains all rights in content processed by the Service. Content uploaded to Studio storage is processed solely to provide the Service and is deleted 30 days after the Customer deletes it or the subscription ends.

Accounts, devices and seats

One account per person. You can install Crusher on two of your computers and be signed in on one at a time. A Studio seat belongs to one person and can be reassigned by the owner.

Sharing credentials, circumventing device or trial limits, or reselling access is a material breach and grounds for termination.

Trial

Seven days, whole app, no card. The clock starts the first time you save a crushed file. One trial per person and per computer.

Payment and renewal

Prices are in euro. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel any time; you keep access to the end of what you paid for.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Failed renewals enter a seven-day grace period during which access continues; after that, saving is disabled until payment succeeds.

What we collect

Your account details, your plan and billing status, your devices, your team's shared files and comments, and anonymous notes about how the app is used (which controls, which file types, before and after sizes, never file names or content). You can switch the anonymous notes off in Settings. Full details in the Privacy notice.

Acceptable use

Do not use Crusher to process content you have no right to, to attack the service, or to build a competing product from its output. Studio spaces are for your team's work.

Ending the service

You can delete your account from Settings. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, with notice where the law allows.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded.

Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Consumers in the EU keep the protections of their home country. Disputes go to the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to consumers' rights to sue at home.
